Community Garage Sale to raise funds for the Ministry
Provided ethnic Filipino dishes at the International Dinner in January of 2005.
Donated $200.00 to the Janet Morton Scholarship Fund.
Sold lumpia/eggrolls at the Christ the King School Carnival. We raised $400.00 for the school.
Members helped at the fish Fry dinners during Lent.
Helped at the LateNite Cathechism Dinner Play.
Participated at Christ the King's fiftieth anniversay dinner.
Provided entertainment at the Ministry Dinner.
Assisted at the Priest Appreciation dinner and our male members were part of Father Thanh's Marvelous Men volleyball team (They Won!! 4-0)
Had a successful first dinner dance last Sept. 24, 2005. This event was a fund raiser for the chruch roof. We collected a total of $2,000.00 for the church.
Had a successful Barrio Fiesta last May 21, 2006. Almost 300 parishioners and guests enjoyed our ethnic food and festivities.
Had another successful second dinner dance last Sept. 30, 2006. This event was a fund raiser for The Janet Morton Scholarship Fund. We collected a total of $1,000.00 for this Scholarship. Given during the 50th anniversary of the school last Oct. 14, 2006.
January 07, 2007 - International Dinner at Christ the King Parish Hall. Maraming salamat for those members who in one way or another had done their time, talent and treasure in making our ministry a very successful event. God Bless you all.
April 21, 2007 - (School carnival) Maraming salamat for those who helped and contributed in our Famous egg roll (LUMPIA). The 6 hour sale was able to raise $420 for the school. another "A" for the Fil-Am MInistry again.
